Apple Crisp with Oat Topping

Filling
- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Topping
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples and lemon juice.
Add granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the apples. Mix well.
Transfer the apple mixture to a baking dish.
In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt.
Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
