- 2 lbs Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream to the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the cheese sauce over the potatoes. Repeat with the remaining potatoes and cheese sauce.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender.
Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
