Bananas Foster Recipe
A classic New Orleans dessert made with bananas, rum, and ice cream.

Main Ingredients
- 4 bananas sliced
- ¼ cup butter unsalted
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup dark rum
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Add bananas and cook until they start to soften, about 2 minutes.
Pour in rum and carefully ignite with a long lighter. Let the flames subside.
Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
