Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 package Egg noodles, cooked

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
  2. 2. Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
  4. 4. Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  6. 6. Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the sour cream. Cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. 7. Serve the beef stroganoff over cooked egg noodles.
