Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken about 4 pounds
  • 1 can Beer 12 oz can
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rinse the chicken inside and out, and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the chicken with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Open the beer can and drink half, then place the can in the center of a roasting pan.
  5. Place the chicken over the beer can, balancing it upright.
  6. Place the pan on the grill and cook for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Carefully remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
