Main Ingredients
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 0.5 cup bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 cup corn kernels optional
- 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
1. In a food processor, combine black beans, bread crumbs, onion, egg, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
2. If using, stir in corn kernels by hand.
3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned and heated through.
