- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Pepper
- ½ cup Butter cold, cubed
1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
5. Stir in the milk to form a dough.
6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the simmering broth and cook until the dumplings are cooked through, about 10 minutes.
