  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper
  • ½ cup Butter cold, cubed

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. 5. Stir in the milk to form a dough.
  6. 6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the simmering broth and cook until the dumplings are cooked through, about 10 minutes.
