Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Italian seasoned
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
