Ingredients 

Marinade

  • 500 g chicken breast cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Peanut Sauce

  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
  3. 3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. 4. For the peanut sauce, mix all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth and heated through.
  5. 5. Serve chicken satay with peanut sauce on the side.
