Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 2 cups Carrots sliced
- 1 cup Celery chopped
- 1 large Onion diced
- 8 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
1. In a large pot, add the chicken and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes.
2. Remove the chicken, let it cool, and shred the meat.
3. In the same pot, add the carrots, celery, onion, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
4. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
5. Add the shredded chicken back into the pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
