Main Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 oz each)
- 1 can kidney beans (15 oz), drained and rinsed
- 1 can black beans (15 oz), drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup beef broth
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pot. Cook until softened.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
