Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Corn kernels fresh or frozen
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped scallions for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the corn kernels and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the soup thickens.
  4. 4. Slowly pour in the beaten eggs while stirring the soup to create egg ribbons.
  5. 5. Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with chopped scallions before serving.
