Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour heat treated
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Heat treat the flour: Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes. Let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract and milk.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for later.
