Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 3 Eggs beaten
  • 2.5 cups Milk scalded
  • 1 Pie Crust 9-inch, pre-baked

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, salt, and nutmeg.
  3. Add beaten eggs and mix well.
  4. Slowly add scalded milk, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour mixture into pre-baked pie crust.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
