- 1 cup Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
- 3 Eggs beaten
- 2.5 cups Milk scalded
- 1 Pie Crust 9-inch, pre-baked
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, salt, and nutmeg.
Add beaten eggs and mix well.
Slowly add scalded milk, stirring constantly.
Pour mixture into pre-baked pie crust.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack before serving.
