  • 2 pounds Figs fresh, stemmed and quartered
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 lemon Lemon juiced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large saucepan, combine figs, sugar, water, and lemon juice.
  2. 2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. 3. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  4. 4. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
  5. 5. Let cool and store in the refrigerator.
