Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen hash browns thawed
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Topping

  • 2 cups cornflakes crushed
  • ½ cup butter melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine thawed hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix crushed cornflakes with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the potato mixture.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
