  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Grate the potatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion, flour, beaten egg, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well.
  3. 3. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Spoon the potato mixture into the pan, flattening each spoonful to form a pancake.
  5. 5. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
