- 1 lb Ham, diced
- 2 cups Dried beans, soaked overnight
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 6 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
1. In a large pot, combine the ham, soaked beans, onion, garlic, and water.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours, or until beans are tender.
3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
