Main Ingredients
- 4 medium Russet potatoes peeled and grated
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¼ cup Vegetable oil
1. Peel and grate the potatoes.
2. Rinse the grated potatoes in cold water to remove excess starch.
3. Dry the potatoes thoroughly using paper towels.
4. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Add the grated potatoes to the skillet, spreading them out evenly.
6. Sprinkle salt over the potatoes.
7. Cook until the bottom is golden brown and crispy, about 7-8 minutes.
8. Flip the hash browns and cook the other side until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
9. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
