Honduran Baleadas Recipe
A traditional Honduran dish made with flour tortillas, refried beans, and various toppings.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- ¾ cup Warm water
- 1 cup Refried beans
- ½ cup Crumbled cheese (queso fresco)
- ¼ cup Sour cream
- 1 Avocado, sliced
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add vegetable oil and warm water. Mix until a dough forms.
2. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
3. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and flatten into a circle.
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each tortilla for about 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
5. Spread refried beans on each tortilla. Top with crumbled cheese, sour cream, and avocado slices.
6. Fold the tortillas in half and serve warm.
