Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed (15 oz)
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (15 oz)
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. 3. Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  4. 4. Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and set to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
