Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs thoroughly.
  2. 2. Add sugar, mirin, salt, and soy sauce to the eggs. Mix well.
  3. 3. Heat the tamagoyaki pan over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  4. 4. Pour a thin layer of the egg mixture into the pan. When it starts to set, roll it up with chopsticks.
  5. 5. Move the rolled egg to one side of the pan. Add more oil if needed, then pour another thin layer of egg mixture. Roll again.
  6. 6. Repeat until all the egg mixture is used. Shape the roll and let it cool slightly before slicing.
