Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 Green plantains
  • 1 lb Beef steak thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 Tomato sliced
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • for frying Vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel the plantains and cut them in half lengthwise.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. 3. Fry the plantains until golden brown, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. 4. Flatten the fried plantains using a plate or a flat surface.
  5. 5. Fry the flattened plantains again until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  6. 6. Season the beef steak with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  7. 7. Cook the beef steak in the same frying pan until done to your liking.
  8. 8. Assemble the sandwich by placing the beef steak, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise between two fried plantains.
