  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. 4. Gradually whisk in the milk, and cook until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
  5. 5. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni and mix well.
  7. 7. Transfer the macaroni and cheese to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
