Main Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 bolillo rolls
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 0.5 cup pickled jalapeños
- 0.5 cup queso fresco, crumbled
- 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Season steak with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook steak for 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
Let steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
Slice bolillo rolls in half and toast lightly.
Spread refried beans on the bottom half of each roll.
Layer steak slices, avocado, pickled jalapeños, queso fresco, and cilantro.
Top with the other half of the roll and serve with lime wedges.
