Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, salt, sugar, dried basil, dried oregano, and black pepper.
  5. 5. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve over your favorite pasta.
