  • 4 cups Beets, sliced
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. Boil the beets until tender, about 30 minutes.
  2. Peel and slice the beets.
  3. In a pot, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, and water. Bring to a boil.
  4. Place beets in jars and pour the hot liquid over them.
  5. Seal jars and let cool. Store in the refrigerator.
