Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns
  • 1 clove garlic peeled

Instructions 

  1. 1. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Cool the eggs in ice water and peel them.
  3. 3. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, and peppercorns. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Place the peeled eggs and garlic clove in a jar.
  5. 5. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the eggs. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
