Instructions
Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Brush the mixture onto both sides of the portobello mushrooms.
Grill the mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until tender.
Toast the bread slices on the grill for a minute or two.
Assemble the sandwich with grilled mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
