Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 large portobello mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices your favorite bread
  • 2 slices cheese (optional)
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the mixture onto both sides of the portobello mushrooms.
  4. Grill the mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until tender.
  5. Toast the bread slices on the grill for a minute or two.
  6. Assemble the sandwich with grilled mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
