Main Ingredients
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups frozen hash browns
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- to taste salt and pepper
Heat the large pot over medium heat.
Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Add the frozen hash browns and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese. Cook until the cheese is melted and the soup is heated through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
