- 1 sheet Pie crust store-bought or homemade
- 6 Bacon slices chopped
- 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Milk
- 3 Eggs large
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg ground
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place pie crust in pie dish and bake for 10 minutes.
Cook bacon in a pan until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Spread bacon and cheese evenly in pie crust.
Pour egg mixture over bacon and cheese.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until set and golden brown.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
