Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • 6 Bacon slices chopped
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 Eggs large
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg ground

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place pie crust in pie dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Cook bacon in a pan until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Spread bacon and cheese evenly in pie crust.
  6. Pour egg mixture over bacon and cheese.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until set and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
