Instructions
1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the diced potatoes and cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
4. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Add the salmon chunks and cook until the salmon is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped fresh dill just before serving.
