- 4 large apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add apple slices and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm.
