- 1 cup Sugar for caramel
- 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can Evaporated milk
- 5 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until it turns into a golden caramel. Pour it into a baking dish and spread evenly.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with hot water, creating a water bath.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the flan is set.
Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
