Instructions
In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, water, sugar, fish sauce, and chili garlic sauce. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoon water to create a slurry.
Slowly whisk the cornstarch slurry into the boiling mixture. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool. Store in a jar in the refrigerator.
