Main Ingredients
- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers rinsed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 tortillas
- 1 lime cut into wedges
- 1 cup cilantro chopped
1. Boil the hibiscus flowers in water for about 10 minutes. Drain and rinse.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
3. Add the hibiscus flowers, cumin, paprika, and salt. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
4. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet.
5. Assemble the tacos with the hibiscus mixture, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
