Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tortillas
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • 1 cup cilantro chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Boil the hibiscus flowers in water for about 10 minutes. Drain and rinse.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
  3. 3. Add the hibiscus flowers, cumin, paprika, and salt. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet.
  5. 5. Assemble the tacos with the hibiscus mixture, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
