Tater Tots Casserole Recipe

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag frozen tater tots (32 oz)
- 1 small onion chopped
- to taste salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef and onion with the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Spread the beef mixture evenly in a baking dish. Top with an even layer of frozen tater tots.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
