Main Ingredients
- ½ cup Soy sauce
- ¼ cup Brown sugar
- ¼ cup Mirin
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, honey, garlic, and ginger.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with water and add to the saucepan.
Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool. Use as a marinade or sauce.
