Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup Soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the saucepan.
  5. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool. Use as a marinade or sauce.
