  • 6 slices Bacon chopped
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  2. 2. Add the flour to the bacon drippings and whisk continuously for about 1-2 minutes until it forms a roux.
  3. 3. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Stir in the cooked bacon pieces.
  5. 5. Serve the gravy hot over freshly baked biscuits.
