Instructions
1. Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
2. Add the flour to the bacon drippings and whisk continuously for about 1-2 minutes until it forms a roux.
3. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Stir in the cooked bacon pieces.
5. Serve the gravy hot over freshly baked biscuits.
